WMTP Organizing Committee Visits Thailand for Cooperation & Exchanges

Recently, the Organizing Committee of 2026 Zhejiang (Wenzhou) Metal Materials & Thermal Processing Fair (hereinafter referred to as WMTP) took the initiative to "go global" and traveled to Thailand to visit Prof. Dr. Jarruwat Charoensuk, a researcher at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and Vice Chairman of the Thai Radiator and Pressure Vessel Association. During the exchange, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on industrial cooperation between China and Thailand in thermal processing, boilers and pressure vessels, pump and valve assemblies, and other related fields.
Dr. Jarruwat affirmed the cluster advantages of Wenzhou's pump-valve, metal materials and thermal processing industries, and stated that he will actively promote relevant Thai enterprises and institutions to visit Wenzhou for exchanges and cooperation. The Organizing Committee briefed Dr. Jarruwat on its previous meeting with the Consul General of Belarus in Shanghai: it intends to hold the "Belarus-Wenzhou Industrial and Economic Cooperation Week" against the backdrop of the "China-Belarus Year of Industrial Cooperation", and work hand in hand with international partners including Thailand to achieve win-win cooperation.

After consultation, the Thai Association of Boiler and Pressure Vessel will organize a professional purchasing delegation, enterprise representatives and technical experts to visit Wenzhou from October 9 to 11, 2026 to participate in the series of activities of the "Belarus-Wenzhou Industrial and Economic Cooperation Week". During the event, the 2026 Zhejiang (Wenzhou) Metal Materials & Thermal Processing Fair and the 2026 Zhejiang Int'l Valve Industry Chain Fair will be held concurrently. The Thai delegation will focus on visiting these two exhibitions.
