Foreign Consuls Show Great Interest in Zhejiang (Wenzhou) Metal Materials & Thermal Processing Fair
On April 15, the Wenzhou International Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference was grandly held.
At the event, following a previous meeting and exchange at the Shanghai Consulate General, the Organizing Committee of Zhejiang (Wenzhou) Metal Materials & Thermal Processing Fair (hereafter as WMTP) representatives met again with Mr. Aliaksandr Shauchenka, Consul General of Belarus in Shanghai.
Meanwhile, the WMTP Organizing Committee conducted initial exchanges with international guests including Mr. Cody Dietrich, Commercial Consul of the United States in Shanghai, and focused on introducing the 2026 Zhejiang (Wenzhou) Metal Materials & Thermal Processing Fair.
The two consuls listened intently to the exhibition overview, industrial features and international development plans. They spoke highly of Wenzhou's industrial strengths in metal materials and thermal processing, pump and valve manufacturing and other fields, and expressed strong interest in the exhibition. They will actively encourage local enterprises and institutions to participate, boosting pragmatic cooperation between China-Belarus and China-U.S. enterprises in advanced metal materials and thermal processing industries.
This in-depth exchange has laid a solid foundation for the exhibition to expand markets in Central and Eastern Europe as well as North America, and further enhanced its global influence.
