Ilsenburger Grobblech Inaugurates Training and Communications Centre
Ilsenburger Grobblech, a subsidiary of Salzgitter AG, has inaugurated its training and communication centre in Harz, Germany.
The 2,000m² facility will provide training and qualifications to ‘the specialists of tomorrow’ as well as employees of Ilsenburger Grobblech.
Sven Schulze, Minister President of Saxony-Anhalt, stated: "The new training and communication center at Ilsenburger Grobblech is a flagship project for qualified training in the Harz region.
“We are delighted that we as a Federal State have been able to make our contribution and perceive this location as an opportunity for young people in particular to make the best possible start to their careers.
“Particularly in view of the demographic change in Germany, investing in the training of future skilled personnel is of outstanding importance for the business location."
With this investment Salzgitter and Ilsenburger Grobblech are contributing to sustainable training with career perspectives within the group.
Furthermore, by offering training to local companies, they are increasing the availability of more qualified specialists in the Harz region.
