Salzgitter Receives Silver Medal for Sustainability
Salzgitter AG has received a silver medal sustainability rating for 2026, from EcoVadis.
The company also recorded an increase over last year across all four evaluation criteria: environment, labour & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Overall, Salzgitter received a total score of 78/100, placing it in the top 8% of companies evaluated worldwide.
Salzgitter highlighted that the award underscores the high priority that sustainability holds throughout the entire Group.
EcoVadis evaluates and rates companies' sustainability performance, with its methodology based on international standards, such as GRI, UNGC, and ISO 26000.
